Companion page for Audibility of Group-Delay Equalization http://research.spa.aalto.fi/publications/papers/ieee-tasl-gdeq/ The files in this web folder are related to the following journal article: J. Liski, A. Makivirta, and V. Valimaki, "Audibility of Group-Delay Equalization," IEEE/ACM Transactions On Audio, Speech, And Language Processing, Vol. X, No. Y, January 2021. The zip-file contains the test signals used in the listening test. The four different test signals are each located in their own folders with the original reference being named 'SignalName_ref.wav,' where 'SignalName' is either - unitImp (unit impulse) - pinkImp (pink impulse) - castans (recorded castanet rhythm) - synthHH (synthesized hihat sound) The processed signals are named in a following style: 'SignalName_XXXXHz_YYY_ZZms.wav,' where: - XXXX is the center frequency in Hertz (500, 1000, 2000, 3000, or 4000 Hz) - YYY is either 'pos' (positive peak) or 'neg' (negative peak) - ZZ is the peak group delay in ms (without the decimal point): - 025 is 0.25 ms - 5 is 0.5 ms - 10 is 1.0 ms - 20 is 2.0 ms - 30 is 3.0 ms - 50 is 5.0 ms In Helsinki, Finland, 9 January 2021 Juho Liski Aalto University, Dept. of Signal Processing and Acoustics (end of file)
